Pallbearers were Larry Young, LeRoy Marousek, Lloyd Holmes, Clyde drake, Dean Ash and George Sears. Interment was in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Rhoad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Fannie Rachel, daughter of Middle Loup pioneers, Milo and Murta (Dye) Moore, was born April 27, 1894 near Comstock, Nebraska and departed from this life on January 17, 1975 at the Memorial Hospital in Burwell, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 20 days. Her early childhood was spent on a farm a few miles east of Sargent, and she received her education in the Sargent school. On September 14, 1915, she was united in marriage to Stephen H. Huss at Broken Bow, Nebraska. They were the parents of one daughter, Lucille Marie. For many years they were engaged in farming and after moving into Sargent she was employed in cafe work. In her youth she was baptized in the United Methodist Church in Sargent. Survivors include her husband, Stephen of Sargent; daughter, Lucille, and husband, Ted Holmes of Central Point, Oregon; three grandsons, PVT Stephen and wife, Tina of the Azores Islands; Royce and Terry of Central Point; one great-granddaughter, Kathy.
