Donald C. Wright officiated. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery. Florence E. Myers was born March 9, 1915 at Plainview to George and Ethel (Smith) Myers. She died Monday, February 1, 1982 at the Plainview hospital at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was raised on a farm east of Creighton. Florence attended rural Prairie Dale School and graduated from Creighton High School in 1933. She taught in rural schools in Knox county and lived the remainder of her years on the family farm east of Creighton. Florence was an active member of the Grace Bible Church, Grace Bible Circle and a member of the Kensington Club. Surviving are four brothers, Milton, Gerald and Junior Myers of Creighton, Donald Myers of San Antonio, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Zila of Winnetoon, Mrs. Clarence (Genevieve) Hall of Creighton, Mrs. Wendell (Vera) Strope of Orchard and Mrs. Bruce (Ruth) Bennett of Winnetoon and many nieces and nephews.
