Rosary was recited at 7:30 pm Sunday at the Mason-Hand Funeral Home. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, rural Vining. Mrs John Cibula was organist, and Mrs. Lyle Casey and Victoria Caslavka were in charge of Mass offerings. Floral attendants were Mrs Charles Bartos and Mrs Langley Jensen. Pallbearers were George Kadrmas, Frank Soska, Ludwig Kriz, Frank Kriz, Alfred Kriz and Charles Bartos. Mrs Rund has been in failing health for five years and was a patient at the nursing home since July 5, 1973. She was born Feb 10, 1883 in Czecholslovakia, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Solil Kadrmas. At a very young age she came with her family to the United States and they came directly to Tama where she attended school. She was married May 24, 1904 to Fred Rund, rural Toledo, in St Vaclav's Catholic Church , rural Clutier. They farmed in Otter Creek Township where Mrs. Runnd continued to live after her husband's death in 1934. Later she moved to Tama to make her home with her son, Albin. She was a member of St Patrick's Church and St Catherine's Circle. She is survived by her son Albin, Tama; a brother, JJ Kadrmas, Traer, two sisters, Mrs JV (Anna) Yuska, Dysart and Mrs Christina Kriz, rural Clutier; and a grandson, Steven Rund, Toledo. Besides her husband, her parents, two sisters and two sons preceded her in death.
