Description	:	OBITUARY -- DECEMBER 14, 1952 Defiance Crescent-News Obituary Frank Flory, 84, retired farmer, died Sunday at 4:35 a.m. at his home on rt. 4, Defiance, two miles north of Jewell, having been bedfast since Nov. 2 when he fractured a hip in a fall. The body is at the Mansfield and Mast funeral home. Services will be held there Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and in the Church of the Brethren, North Poplar Ridge, at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Mr. Flory was born in North Richland tp. on July 29, 1868, a son of Henry and Magdalena (Lehman) Flory and lived his entire life in Defiance county. He was married to Clara E. Gilson on Nov 1, 1891. He is survived by his wife; five children, William Flory, Jewell, Delbert L. Flory, rt. 4, Defiance, Amiel F. Flory, Jewell, Irvin H. Flory, Hamler, and Basil H. Flory, Bayview, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, John Flory, rt. 4, Defiance; and a sister, Mrs. Cora Chase, rt. 4, Defiance. Three children, Mrs. Anna Reimund, Lonnie and Vernie Flory preceded him in death, as well as the following brothers and sisters; George, Albert, Jacob, Susan Carpenter, Eli, Timothy and Mary Flory. He had been a member of the Church of the Brethren for the last 60 years
