Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel December 25, 1919 Dies at Lincoln Mr. and Mrs. John Raasch received word last Saturday that their son, Fred J., had died at the state hospital in Lincoln that morning. Another son, Gotleib, then left on the afternoon train for Lincoln to bring the body to Hooper for burial. He returned Sunday evening. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Raasch home and later at the Methodist church. Rev. H. C. Jul. Mr. Raasch was born on the Raasch homestead north of Hooper, June 7, 1873, and thus at the time of death was 46 years, 6 months and 13 days old. He spent his boyhood in this vicinity, but had not been a resident of Hooper for several years. He was married to Miss Hilma Swanson of Lincoln county at North Platte in February, 1912. Since 1913 his home had been at Fremont. The widow and four children of Fremont; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Raasch of Hooper; four brothers and two sisters, Casper of Inman; Mrs. Henry G. Paulson, Bancroft; Mrs. William Hoefner, West Point; Gotlieb, Hooper; Henry, Ashland, and Emil, Omaha, are the close surviving relatives.
