Read More	Obituary from Messenger of Truth Issue 12, 1960: Bostick-Frieda Jeanne (nee Spence) Bostick, was born on March 10, 1926, in Merced, California, and passed away on June 5, 1960, at the Glenn General Hospital in Willows, California. She received her education near Atwater, California. After her marriage to Henry Eugene Bostick in 1944, she made her home in Stockton, California and later moved to Glenn, California where she met her sudden death through an automobile accident. In the year 1940, at the age of fourteen, she felt her lost condition and became converted, joining the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite Church. She leaves to mourn her husband, Henry Eugene; four children, Barbara Anne, Kieth Arlyn, Laura Kay and Susan Gayl; her parents, Jack and Susie Spence; thirteen brothers and sisters: Jack Robert, Lewis Edwin, Erma Eliane, Allen Ashley, Ronald Kenneth, Raymond Harry, Herbert Eugene, Norma Jeanne, Gary Leroy, Carol Eileen, Dennis Leon, James Elwood, Judith Elna, and a host of friends and other relatives. Three children preceded her in death. Kelly Lynn, born September 5, 1959, in Glenn General Hospital, died in the accident with her mother on June 5, at the age of nine months. The following lines were composed by a sister of the deceased: Kelly Jesus has picked a beautiful bud, To bloom in the Master's bouquet, Our home has never been the same, Since He took our Kelly away. Frieda No one knows the pain we suffer, Since you left us here below; No one knows how much we miss you, 'Twas a sad and bitter blow. We loved you very dearly, But you left no parting word, Oh, the aching hearts you gave us, When you went to see the Lord. Not a day shall pass at sunset, But we think of Frieda, dear; And we hope some day to join her, In the land of endless years. Funeral services were conducted in the funeral chapel in Willows, June 9, 1960 with Min. Jesse Koehn of Livingston, California giving opening remarks and prayer, and Min. A.T. Koehn bringing the message from Scriptures John 7:6, Isa. 55:8,9. Internment was made in the Willows Cemetery, where Min. J.H. Loewen gave words of comfort from I Cor. 15:55-57.
