Description	:	Nicholas Enzbrenner lived in Atchison county practically his entire life. He was a hard working and industrious man, devoting his life to farming of which he made a success. He lived in the Eden neighborhood for about 55 years or from the time he started farming for himself. He was a hard working and industrious man, devoting his life to farming of which he made a success. He lived in the Eden neighborhood for about 55 years or from the time he started farming for himself. Born at Weston, Mo., December 25, 1855, he came to Atchison county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Enzbrenner, pioneers of the county, when he was three years of age. He started life early as a farmer and also did blacksmith work. He was active up until about six months ago when his health first began failing. Surviving him are two brothers, John Enzbrenner and N. W. Enzbrenner, both of Atchison county; one sister, Mrs. Annie Healey of Atchison county, and a number of nephews and nieces. A sister, Miss Enzbrenner with whom Mr. Enzbrenner had mad his home, died a few months ago. On Friday night the Hagan boys went to Enzbrenner's house and created a disturbance. Enzbrenner came to town for a warrant, which County Attorney Walker refused to issue, thinking it was some trivial matter and better be let alone. Saturday night the Hagan boys laid for Enzbrenner and his son and gave them another good licking. They don't fight scientifically, but they do fight effectually and to the point. Yesterday both factions came to town and each swore out warrants for arrest of the other. The parties named are Frank Hagan, sr., and Frank and Henry Hagan, and Nicholas John and George N. Enzbrenner. Assault battery and disturbances of the peace are the charges and the accused will be given a hearing before Justice Talbott.
