All friends and relative are invited to attend. George Gamby and Sadie Sliter were married Feb 26, 1913 by the Rev. J. E. Holley at the home of the bride's mother in Everest. They have lived all their married life on a farm home south of Everest. They are the parents of two children, Mrs. George (Erma) French, Grand Forks, N. D. , and Dr. John Gamby, Slater, Mo., They have five grandchildren. The Atchison Daily Globe, 28 Nov 1972, Tue, Page 28 George W. Gamby, 88, Everest, died yesterday at the Horton hospital. He was a retired farmer. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Chaney chapel, Horton, The Rev. Harold Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Old Huron cemetery. Mr. Gamby was born Aug. 10, 1884, in Robinson. Survivors include one son, Dr. John Gamby, Slater, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Erma French, Salinas, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. V. R. Reeves, Mission; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
