The old settlers of Lawrence will remember her as Georgia Bell, the daughter of Captain Bell, who was killed on the day of Quantrill's Raid. Mrs. Aherns was visiting her mother here this summer until about six weeks ago when she went to Lake Genevia. She has been in poor health for about two years. She requested that she should be laid by the side of her father and the remains will be brought here and the funeral held from the residence of Mrs. DaLee, Tennessee Street, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Friends invited to be present."
