Description	:	Glen T. Vallery, 71, lifelong resident of Cass county, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the family home in this city, after an illness that has covered the past three years. Mr. Vallery, the son of Walter and Elizabeth Cook Vallery, members of pioneer families of Nebraska was born Sept. 25, 1885, at the farm home near Murray. He spent his youth in his native community and attended the schools of the county. Vallery, 71, lifelong resident of Cass county, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the family home in this city, after an illness that has covered the past three years. Mr. Vallery, the son of Walter and Elizabeth Cook Vallery, members of pioneer families of Nebraska was born Sept. 25, 1885, at the farm home near Murray. He spent his youth in his native community and attended the schools of the county. Mr. Vallery was a farmer and stock feeder for the greater part of his lifetime and was one of the best known and highly respected residents of the county. He was an active figure in the business life of Plattsmouth for a number of years, operating the John Deere agency until failing health made necessary his retirement from business. Mr. Vallery was an active member in the Modern Woodmen of America for a great many years. On March 15, 1909, he was married to Miss Louisa Shepherdson in Plattsmouth where they have made their home. Survivors are: the wife, Louisa, Plattsmouth; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Gorton, Plattsmouth, Mrs. John Koop and Mrs. Harold O. Peterson, both of Omaha; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Owen Willis, Plattsmouth; one brother, Charles Vallery, Plattsmouth; nieces and nephews.
