She was born in Gustavus, May 7, 1894. A resident of the Jefferson area most of her life, Mrs. Goff worked for 23 years as a courthouse custodian before her retirement in 1966. She was born in Gustavus, May 7, 1894. A resident of the Jefferson area most of her life, Mrs. Goff worked for 23 years as a courthouse custodian before her retirement in 1966. On May 13, 1911, she was married to Oney Goff. Her maiden name was Grace French. She was a member of the Jefferson First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Rodgers and Wilma Sabo, both of Jefferson; and five sons, Merle Goff, Venice, Florida; Cecil Goff and Leonard Goff, both of Jefferson; Duane Goff, Tehachipi, Calif., and Ralph Goff, Geneva. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Winnie (Sparks) French; her husband, Oney Goff; a son, Donald Goff; and a daughter, Gertrude Goff. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lehnert Funeral Home, Jefferson. The Rev. Dr. William Offutt of the Jefferson First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held this evening, Jan 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Contributions in Mrs. Goff's memory may be given to the Jefferson First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
