Read More	GARRETT, GRACE BELLE—Grace Belle Frost Garrett was born November 4, 1892, at Oxford, Neb. She departed this life at the Geneva hospital, Geneva, Nebraska, April 21, 1943, aged 50 years, 5 months and 17 days. She spent her girlhood days midst the scenes of her birth and at the age of nine years went to make her home with her aunt, Mrs. L. N. Parlin, at Lincoln, Neb. It was here that she grew to young womanhood and attended school. Several years before her marriage she came to Fillmore county and was employed in and about Geneva and Fairmont. She was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to John F. Garrett, June 15, 1916. The marriage took place at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Parlin in Lincoln. To this union six children were born. Two children preceded her in death. Norma Lee passed away at the age of eight years, and Nancy Lee at the age of three months. The surviving children, present at the time of her death are David, Evelyn, Lowell and Donna Grace. At an early age Mrs. Garrett made profession of the Christian faith and at the time of her death was a member of Warren Methodist church, Lincoln. She leaves to mourn her departure her beloved husband and children, three brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Ed Luther of Sterling, Col., Mrs. John Dale of Phillipsburg, Kas., Mrs. Homer Arnold of Denver, Col., Mrs. Clifford Crouch of Des Moines, Ia., Isaac F. Frost of San Fernando, Cal., Alfred of Alliance, Neb., Charles of sterling, Col., four aunts, two uncles, one great-aunt, and other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Garrett was a great and noble woman. She presided in her home with a graciousness and charm that indicated the steadfastness of her splendid spirit. She was loyal and dutiful to the best that is in life. She did what she could to fill her home with comfort and cheer. She will ever be remembered as a loving and dutiful wife, a patient and endearing mother, and a loyal and understanding friend. After many years of patient suffering she is now at rest and a wise and merciful Father will receive her to that home where there is no pain. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at the Hrubesky funeral home in Geneva with Rev. E. R. King of the Fairmont Federated church officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal April 29th, 1943 page 8.
