Description	:	GARRETT, NORMA LEE – Norma Lee was the second child born to Mr. and Mrs. John Garrett. She was born February 20, 1920 and at the time of her passing January 3 had reached the age of 8 years, 10 months and 13 days. She is survived by her parents, one sister, Evelyn Rose, aged six, two brothers, David aged 11, and Joseph Lowell, aged five weeks. Read More	GARRETT, NORMA LEE – Norma Lee was the second child born to Mr. and Mrs. John Garrett. She was born February 20, 1920 and at the time of her passing January 3 had reached the age of 8 years, 10 months and 13 days. She is survived by her parents, one sister, Evelyn Rose, aged six, two brothers, David aged 11, and Joseph Lowell, aged five weeks. She became the victim of the epidemic of influenza which brought on meningitis. Before this had subsided she had another attack of influenza, followed by pneumonia. She suffered intense pain during the nine weeks of her illness but was always hopeful. She had been given the best care and attention but all to no avail. She passed on peacefully to the bosom of Him who said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." These words are of the greatest consolation to the bereaved ones. The funeral, which was a very large one, took place Sunday afternoon, January 6, Rev. David Tudor of the Congregational church officiating. Miss Daly and Miss Gumbel sang at the request of the family the two songs, “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Jesus Savior, Pilot Me."
