GARRETT, NANCY LEE—Nancy Lee Garrett, little daughter of John and Grace Garret, was born September 6, 1933, and was taken from this life and from the arms of her parents back to the arms of Jesus on the evening of December 23, after an illness of two weeks. Besides her father and mother, this dear little one leaves to grieve for her, two brothers, David and Lowell; two sisters, Evelyn Rose and Donna Mae, her grandparents and many other relatives. A sister, Norma Lee, preceded her in death five years ago. This sweet little one’s stay on earth was of short duration, but sorrowing loved ones will treasure a precious memory of innocence and purity and look forward to seeing her again, for the Savior said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me, for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.” Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, December 26, at 2:30 conducted by Rev. W. H. Shoaf. A basket of rose buds and other bouquets of beautiful flowers harmonized appropriately with the occasion. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
