He passed away at the Fillmore County hospital in Geneva, February 28, 1969, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 23 days. He attended District 76 rural public school. Read More	CHRISTIANCY, GUY RALPH—Guy Ralph Christiancy, son of Walter and Sophia Christiancy, was born on a farm southeast of Geneva, January 5, 1893. He passed away at the Fillmore County hospital in Geneva, February 28, 1969, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 23 days. He attended District 76 rural public school. He started farming when he was 21 and this was his vocation until he retired in 1954. After retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Christiancy moved from Belvidere to Geneva about a year ago. He was married to Clarice Overhalser January 8, 1919. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary January 12 of this year. To this union three children were born, Mildred, Floyd and Marie. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. He is survived by his wife, Clarice; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Leenerts of Bruning and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Lowe of Belton, Mo., one son, Floyd of Lincoln, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother, Vern Christiancy of Geneva, two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Gray of Geneva, and Mrs. Belva Saylor of Winnett, Mont., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted March 3 at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva by Rev. Paul W. Walker. Sheldon Johnson sang “In the Garden” and “The old Rugged Cross,” accompanied by Mrs. Sheldon Johnson. Pallbearers were Eugene Betka, Clair, Rodger, Walter, and Wendell Christiancy and Jack Lechtenberger. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal March 3rd, 1969, page 3.
