Description	:	HANNAH MCGILLVREY 1881-1978 Funeral services for Hannah McGillvrey, 96, will be Tuesday at Rose Hill Church, rural Wessington at 2 p.m. with the Rev James Smucker officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state Sunday afternoon and evening at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron and prior to the service at the church. Hannah Ross was born August 10, 1881 to John and Betsy Ross in Cape Brenton, Nova Scotia. As a small child she moved with her parents to LeMars, Iowa where they lived until 1889 and then moved to Hammond, Louisiana. She married William McGillvrey January 1, 1900 at Merrill, Iowa. They lived in Sioux City until 1904 when they moved to their home in Rose Hill township where they remained until her death Thursday. She was a charter member of the Rose Hill Pioneer Club and was a member of the Rose Hill Church and Ladies Aid. She was active in these organizations until her health failed. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Nerreter and a son Colin, both of Wessington.
