Description	:	Harold Glenn DeWitt, 78, of Friendsville, Md. did Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at his residence. Born December 28, 1933, in Sang Run, Md. he was the son of the late Alvie Harold and Stella Marie (Rodeheaver) DeWitt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Susan (Enlow) DeWitt, February 14, 2002. Also, a sister, Freda Austin and a brother, Alan DeWitt. Keith DeWitt and his wife Barb; Ronnie DeWitt and his wife Donna; Bradley DeWitt and his wife Dianne; two daughters, Christy Thomas and husband Lowell, Jr., and Becky Harvey and husband Chuck, all of Friendsville. Harold is survived by a brother, Andrew DeWitt and wife Betty, Elkins, West Virginia; a sister, Janet Bernard and her husband Harland, Swanton, Md.; eleven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Home, P.A., 26722 Garrett Highway, Accident (McHenry) Md., on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the Oak Grove Church of the Brethern on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Phillip Matthews officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County or the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund.
