Born in Springfield, he was a son of the late Fred and Sadie (Arenburg) Burgoyne. Early in his life, Pete worked in the woods and later was employed with Thompson's Transfer for over 35 years. He was predeceased by sisters, Elsie and Pearl; brother, Harold. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Middleton Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today, Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
