Zion church for Harry S. Pearson, 54, who died suddenly at his home in Selma yesterday morning. The services will be in charge of the Rev. Robert Farr and the Rev. Orville Johnston. Burial will be in the Fell cemetery. Pearson was born in Jefferson county May 25, 1900, the son of Samuel and Margaret Beale Pearson. He was married to Pink Ransom on Aug. 10, 1920. They had lived in Selma the past eight years. He had been employed as a welder at the Louden Machinery company in Fairfield. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist church. Besides his wife he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Vera Adams, Ft. Meade, Md.; Mrs. Melva Carr, Douds; Mrs. Wyona Fellows, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Ottumwa; Mrs. Fern Bales, Honolulu; one brother, Wilbur, Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Pearson and Mrs. Enid Hawthorne, both of Fairfield, and 13 grandchildren. The body is at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon.
