A. Pearson Dies Today, Spent Entire Life in County Samuel Allen Pearson died at 1:30 a.m. today at his home three miles southwest of Libertyville. Mr. Pearson, who was 69, had been seriously ill for 10 months. He was born on Nov. 12, 1868, in Jefferson county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Pearson,and had spent his entire life in this county. He was married in April, 1898 to Margaret Beale. Mrs. Pearson survives him as does two daughters, Ruth and Enid at home, and two sons, Wilbur at home, and Harry of Douds. Also surviving are three brothers, Emery, Charles and Rayburn, all of near Libertyville, and five grandchildren. One brother, Will, preceded him in death. Services will be conducted by Rev. A. M. Smith of Libertyville, at 1:00 Thursday afternoon in the Mt. Zion church, with interment in Fell cemetery. "Fairfield Tribune", Wed., May 3, 1899, Pg. 2, Col. 1 Wed. evening, April 19, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. BEALE, of Des Moines Township, at 6:30 o'clock, marriage of Margaret A. BEALE to S. A. PEARSON. Methodist Church. Will go to housekeeping on a farm south of Libertyville.
