She was surrounded by her family. Nita was born April 1, 1936, to Wallace and Helen Peel in Butte. The family moved to Helena, and she graduated from Helena High School in 1954. She was surrounded by her family. Nita was born April 1, 1936, to Wallace and Helen Peel in Butte. The family moved to Helena, and she graduated from Helena High School in 1954. She married Lyle Kipp in 1955, and after his death in 1962 she married Chedomer Kabalin in 1963. In 1997, he passed away after 34 years of marriage. Nita worked as a secretary at the state legislature in the 1970s and at Hennessey's in the mall. She was a homemaker and enjoyed craft work, collectables, attending rodeo events, directing a computer game web site, and spending time with family and friends. Nita was active in bowling for several years as a bowler, league secretary, and junior bowling coach. She was named the Montana Woman Bowling Association's Woman Bowler of the Year 1994/1995 and wrote a weekly column for the IR sports page called "Let's Go Bowling." Survivors include sons and a daughter-in-law: Dean and Karissa Kipp, Great Falls; Jim Kipp, Florence, S.C.; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Debbie (Kipp) Lucas, Great Falls; Jeff and Penny (Kipp) Kunda, Helena; Scott and Janet (Kabalin) Janson, Vancouver, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother and sister-in-law Wally and Donna Peel of Helena. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 4, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Hagler-Anderson Chapel. Interment follows in the Montana Military Veterans Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Ched. A reception to celebrate her life will follow at the Service Club at Fort Harrison. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
