Description	:	EBBEKA, HENRY—Henry Ebbeka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ebbeka, was born at Lanark, Ill., September 7, 1874. He departed this life September 29, 1932, at the Lincoln General hospital at Lincoln, Nebr., aged 58 years and 22 days. At the age of four years he moved with his parents to York county, where he lived until the age of twenty-two years, when he moved to Missouri, where he resided four years. Read More	EBBEKA, HENRY—Henry Ebbeka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ebbeka, was born at Lanark, Ill., September 7, 1874. He departed this life September 29, 1932, at the Lincoln General hospital at Lincoln, Nebr., aged 58 years and 22 days. At the age of four years he moved with his parents to York county, where he lived until the age of twenty-two years, when he moved to Missouri, where he resided four years. He was united in marriage to Audlehide Wickens March 15, 1899, at Valley City, Mo. To this union were born five children, three sons and two daughters, William, Emma, Walter, Laurence, and Eda, all of Geneva. In 1900 he moved back to Nebraska, settling near Carleton. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1908. He lived at Charleton until 1917, removing to a farm south of Geneva, where he resided until his death. Those left to mourn are his wife and five children, three brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Carrie Fiedler of Geneva; William Ebbeka of Bartley, Neb., Louis H. Ebbeka of Geneva, Neb., Mrs. Emma Myers of Twin Falls, Idaho, Charles Ebbeka of Carleton, neb., Mrs. Mary Wolcott of Scottsbluff, Neb., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Geneva Methodist church at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, and were conducted by Rev. E. H. Pontius of Crab Orchard. The body was laid to rest in the Geneva cemetery.
