Her parents were Ernest and Ellen Anderson. Ingrid attended the Malvern Community School System until her marriage on June 16, 1927 to Kenneth Hedlund. They resided in Malvern for the most part of their first 49 years together except for a short time when they lived in Manning, Iowa. In 1976 she and her husband moved to Glenwood. Read More	Following obit was provided by Jennie S.: "The Malvern Leader 14 April 1988 Ingrid Hedlund Memorial Service Ingrid Alma Hedlund was born on August 29, 1910 in Malvern, Iowa. Her parents were Ernest and Ellen Anderson. Ingrid attended the Malvern Community School System until her marriage on June 16, 1927 to Kenneth Hedlund. They resided in Malvern for the most part of their first 49 years together except for a short time when they lived in Manning, Iowa. In 1976 she and her husband moved to Glenwood. Ingrid was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed homemaking, reading, embroidery, flowers and collecting nick-nacks. Ingrid passed away on April 9, 1988 at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital in Council Bluffs. Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth, of 61 years; a daughter, Louise, and husband, Bill Johnson, of Glenwood; two sons, Kenneth E. Hedlund and wife Audrey, and Paul E. Hedlund and wife, Ange, both of Council Bluffs; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leonard E. Anderson, of Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 11, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern. Pastor Kevin Morris officiated at the services. Joellyn Peters cared for the registry book. Soloist Darlene Roeder sang, "In the Garden" and "Amazing Grace" accompanied by organist, Wanda Williams. Pallbearers were David Hedlund, Robert Griffith, Roger Kokemuller, Keith Peters, Lloyd Hedlund and William Griffith. Interment was a the Malvern Cemetery."
