Description	:	Iva E. King, age 89, of Gayville, South Dakota, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton. Funeral services was 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7 at Gayville Lutheran Church in Gayville, South Dakota, with Reverend Linda Jorgensen officiating. Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the church. Iva E. King was born September 12, 1926, near Lucas, South Dakota, to Lee and Pearl (Dappen) Stevicks. She grew up on the farm and attended country school in the Lucas area. She married Warren King on June 17, 1947, in Burke, South Dakota. They moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, for a few years and in 1957 settled in Gayville, South Dakota. She became a resident of Avera Sister James Care Center in 2009 as her health started to decline. Survivors include her five children; six grandchildren: sister, Eileen Ronfeldt of Lake Andes, South Dakota; sister-in-law, Mary Stevicks of Dallas, South Dakota; and brother-in-law, John Holub of Burke, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren on April 24, 2009; infant daughter, Debra; infant son, Wendall; two brothers, Melvin and Laurel Stevicks; and two sisters, Maude King and Neoma Holub.
