Description	:	JIM PARR Scribner The funeral for Jim F. Parr, 73, of Scribner will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scribner. Parr died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. He was born July 4, 1920, in Dodge and attended Dodge schools. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Blair for several years and was employed for 27 years at Farmers Co-Op in Scribner. He was then a custodian at Scribner and Snyder Schools. Parr, 73, of Scribner will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scribner. Parr died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. He was born July 4, 1920, in Dodge and attended Dodge schools. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Blair for several years and was employed for 27 years at Farmers Co-Op in Scribner. He was then a custodian at Scribner and Snyder Schools. Parr was a member of United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scribner. He married Arlene Moyer July 19, 1941, at Scribner. She survives. Other survivors include eight daughters, Lois Young of Austin, Minn., Patsy Kelly of Hebron, Diane Barber of Cheyenne, Wyo., Karolyn Streeter of Columbia, S.C., Bonnie Christiansen of Pender, Lee Ann Wisnieski of Howells, Lisa Parr of Lincoln, and Ronda Parr of Scribner; and 22 grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by eight brothers, three sisters and a grandson. The Rev. Donna Wright will officiate Saturday's service. Visitation will be 3 to 9 tonight and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church. A public prayer service will be 7:30 to night at the church. Burial will be at Scribner Cemetery. Ben Stalp Funeral Home in West Point is in charge of arrangements.
