Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa - James Michael Burke Jr., 66, Muscatine, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Carrington Place. The Rev. Gertie Nichols, of the Musserville United Methodist Church, will officiate the service. Memorials may be left to the James Burke Jr. Memorial Fund in care of Linda Burke. Mr. Burke was born July 21, 1943, in Muscatine, the son of James and Betty Kincaid Burke Sr. He first married Phillis Tompkins. They later divorced. Mr. Burke was born July 21, 1943, in Muscatine, the son of James and Betty Kincaid Burke Sr. He first married Phillis Tompkins. They later divorced. He then married Linda Fisher on Dec. 23, 1989, in Muscatine. He had worked at HON for 20 years. He had also worked in the press room at the Muscatine Journal for 17 years. He played on several different bowling and golf leagues. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include his wife,two sons, two daughters, two step-sons, a stepdaughter, 19 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, his mother, and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his father.
