Tribby, age 76, passed away Wednesday night at his home here after an illness of one week with Pneumonia. Mr. Tribby was born in Kentucky, but came to Indiana a number of years ago where he has spent most of his life. For several years he resided at New Richmond and later at Mace. Only a few months ago Mr. and Mrs. Tribby moved to this place where they have made many friends during their short residence here. Mr. Tribby was twice married, first to Miss Mary L. Curnutt, who died November, 1910. To this union five children were born, George Tribby, who now resides at Peoria, Ill.; Emory Tribby of Indianapolis; Mrs. Huffer of Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Lester Pierce of Indianapolis and Mrs. Etta Allen of Ladoga, all of whom survive. Mr. Tribby's second marriage was to Miss Grace Shepherd of Indianapolis, who with one son, James, survives. The deceased is also survived by one brother, L. M. Tribby of New Richmond, one sister, Mrs. Eph Mears, of New Richmond, and several grand children. Mr. Tribby was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Knights of Pythias lodge. Short services will be held at the home at 10 o'clock Friday morning. The body will then be taken to New Richmond where funeral services will take place at the Methodist church with Rev. M. H. Appleby, pastor of the First M. E. Church of Crawfordsville and the pastor of the Ladoga M. E. Church in charge. Interment will be made at the New Richmond cemetery.
