The body will lie in state at the Raymond Funeral home until Monday at 10:30 a.m. Martin had been a resident of Fairfield since 1945. He was born Aug. 15, 1895 in Davis county, the son of William B. and Mary Ann Nalley Martin. He was married to Olga Dabney Sept. 14, 1905. Mr. and Mrs. Martin celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Martin farmed in Davis county and operated an oil business. He also farmed after moving to Fairfield and he later managed the toy department at Martin's Drug store. He was a member of the First Christian church. Surviving are his wife and two sons, Edward A. Martin, Fairfiel; and D.D. Martin, Fresno, Calif. Other survivors are one brother, Lowell Martin, Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Alta Stockham, Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Nick Martin, Christine Martin and John Martin, Fairfield, and Phil Martin, Bakersfield, Calif.; and fourt great grandchildren. Seven brothers and sisters are deceased.
