JOSEPH KINSLEY It is our sad duty to record the death of one of the highly respected residents of Amaranth township, Jane Rintoul, wife of Joseph Kinsley, who passed peacefully away at the family residence, lot 21, con. 3, on Tuesday, August 9th, 1927, in her 61st year. She had been in poor health for some time although able to be up and around, but she bore her suffering with Christian fortitude, and through her long illness kept very cheerful. She wa a true and loving wife, a kind and tender mother and a good neighbor. The Whittington United Church Ladies' Aid and Sunday School, of each of which she was a member, will miss her from their numbers. At rest! How sweet indeed the thought Those words unto our minds have brought. Rest for our loved one, calm and sweet, After the day's opressive heat There remaineth rest. At rest! Gladly she His voice obeyed, Patiently bore the cross He laid; Striving to serve Him day by day, Till came the call, "Now come away, And be at rest." Deceased was born in Amaranth township, of which she was a lifelong resident, being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Rintoul. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and Wilmer at home, one daughter, Mrs. Wm. J. Farnell, one son, Herbert, two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Young and Mrs. John S. Wallace, of Amaranth, and four brothers, James, Indian Head, Sask.; William, Alexander and David, of Amaranth.
