They moved to Waterville, WA in his early childhood onto a small wheat farm several miles out of town. Read More	Jarrold Thomas “Jerry” Ripley, Sr. October 27, 1944 ~ June 5, 2015 Jarrold Thomas “Jerry” Ripley, Sr. was born October 27, 1944 in Aitkin, MN to Eileen Rice-Ripley and James Ripley. They moved to Waterville, WA in his early childhood onto a small wheat farm several miles out of town. He went into the military after graduating from Eastmont High School in 1962, and was active until 1964. He lived in Cashmere, WA, where his first three children were born; Tammie Eileen Ripley, Tom Ripley, and Taunya Lynn. He spent 11 years in California, where he met his loving wife, Connie Yvonne Pauley. They had two children there; Teressa Charlene Ripley and Yvonne Michelle Ripley. In 1983, they moved to Omak, WA and in less than a year, moved to Cashmere, WA, where they spent the next 23 years. He retired from Stemilt around that time, having worked many years as a CA Engineer for them. Finally in early 2007, his dream was fulfilled as they bought a six acre ranch outside of Waterville, WA. There, they annually raised Black Angus calves up to butchering size. Best beef on the planet, grown with love. He truly loved his cows, and every one of them had names! Over the years, he enjoyed many adventures. Hiking with his son or his family, fishing - from small lakes and streams to big waters of Alaska and Baja, Mexico - hunting, traveling - he visited nearly every state in the U.S.! He was an amazingly talented tennis player and had a natural knack with musical instruments, especially the saxophone. His final days were at his home, the Ripley Ranch, in Lamoine, Wash. There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cashmere Church of Christ, 5949 Goodwin Road, Cashmere.
