Mrs. Allen was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Lee Campbell Lane and Clara Rogers Lane. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clyde Robert Allen and a son, Robert Donald Allen. Mrs. Allen was a long-time member of Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church, where she served as a choir member and Sunday School Teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are a son, Mark Clyde Allen of Sellers, three daughters, JoAnne Allen (Mitchell) Beckwith of Warsaw, NC, Phyllis Allen (Nick) Couch of Summerville, and Judy Allen Herb of Marion; two brothers, Theo L. Lane of Dillon and Bobby C. Lane of Marion; a sister, Carolyn Lane Whaley of Marion; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. - Richardson Funeral Home
