Description	:	Jefferson Howe Sr was the son of James Howe-(1799-1856) and his 2nd wife; Temperance Brown-(1818-1897). He was the eldest of 11 chidren. (There were 4 other chidren from the 1st marriage). His siblings were: Letetia, James Bodkin, Martin B, Lucinda Jane, Archibald, Sylvester, Sophia C, Charles Wilbert, Phoebe J, and Henry Messenger, aka "Mess". On December 23, 1866 he married Eliza Starr in Jackson County, Ohio. (She was the daughter of Andrew Starr and Matilda Davis). From this union were born: Charles L-(1868-1900), Fleetwood-(1876-1966), Bertha-(1879-1959), and Norma Dell-(1882-1976).
