Jeff was born December 9, 1954 at Whittier, California, the eldest of four children of V. LaVale and Loraine (Johnson) Allard. Jeffery received his primary education in California until the family moved to Minden, Nebraska. Read More	Jeffery Alan "Jeff" Allard, of Hildreth, Nebraska passed away on January 7, 2008 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Jeff was born December 9, 1954 at Whittier, California, the eldest of four children of V. LaVale and Loraine (Johnson) Allard. Jeffery received his primary education in California until the family moved to Minden, Nebraska. Jeff then completed his education at Holdrege, where he graduated from Holdrege High School with the class of 1973. On July 30, 1974 he enlisted into the United States Army, serving his country with the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam Era until his honorable discharge on July 29, 1977. Following his military service, Jeff was employed by the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier. On April 6, 1980 he was united in marriage to Nancy Eby and to this union one daughter was born, Ginny. With this marriage, Jeff willingly became father to a son, Gary and a daughter, Ginger. The family made their home in Holdrege, where Jeff continued his work with the Postal Service until 1993. Jeff then pursued higher education at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska, where he studied in the field of Heating and Air Conditioning. He was employed by Anderson Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning in Holdrege and later relocated to Hildreth and was employed by Fidelke Heating and Air of Kearney, Nebraska until his failing health. Jeff enjoyed watching TV, photography, fishing, golfing and playing cards. Jeff was also an artist and was an avid Nebraska Football fan. Jeff leaves to mourn his passing: daughters: Ginny Shueey and husband, Bob of Hastings and Ginger Breinig and husband, Randy of Arapahoe, Nebraska; son, Gary Eby and wife, Rhonda of Omaha, Nebraska; parents, LaVale and Lori Allard of Holdrege; grandmother, LaRayne Baird of Kearney; grandchildren: Jacob and Elizabeth Eby and Audrey, Shannon, Connor and Meredith Breinig; sisters: Janet Chagnon and husband, Tom of Juniata, Nebraska, Julie Pramberg and husband, Terry of Lincoln, Nebraska and Debi Hadley and husband, Craig of Loomis; and a host of relatives and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by: biological father, Carl Baird; grandfather, Dean Baird and grandparents: Jens and Lillie Johnson and Ivar and Minnie Allard. Interment was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
