The following text is from within the story, however, and is transcribed by this contributor as it does not detail the circumstances of her death: ".... The girl had studied in one of the hospitals in Burlington to be a trained nurse although she had not yet graduated from that institution. She has spent the past few weeks in Mt. Pleasant attending a patient and had but arrived home a few days ago. "....Miss Six was a bright and loveable (sic) girl well known and highly esteemed in the vicinity in which she was raised. So far as known she had no troubles and her future appeared to be all that could be desired. She attended the fair in this city Thursday and Friday and had been in good spirits Saturday. She had held an animated conversation over the telephone with some girl friends just a short time previous to her fatal act. "....The funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock at the Presbyterian church in this city. Rev. W. F. Jones conducted the last services. The remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery. The greatest sympathy is felt for the sorrowing parents and other relatives."
