Description	:	MRS. JESSIE MCCOY, PIONEER RESIDENT OF VILLISCA, DIES Mrs. Jessie McCoy, 72, a resident of Villisca, and vicinity all her life, died Friday morning at her home. She was found dead in bed by Mrs. D. J. Agnew in whose home she lived. Her death resulted from a heart attack. Jessie Erkenbrack, daughter of William and Mary Cole Erkenbrack, was born May 23, 1871 near Villisca and married Jesse Elmer McCoy on February 5, 1890 in Montgomery County, Iowa. JESSIE MCCOY, PIONEER RESIDENT OF VILLISCA, DIES Mrs. Jessie McCoy, 72, a resident of Villisca, and vicinity all her life, died Friday morning at her home. She was found dead in bed by Mrs. D. J. Agnew in whose home she lived. Her death resulted from a heart attack. Jessie Erkenbrack, daughter of William and Mary Cole Erkenbrack, was born May 23, 1871 near Villisca and married Jesse Elmer McCoy on February 5, 1890 in Montgomery County, Iowa. He preceded her in death February 6, 1932. To this union were born four children, Glen McCoy of Holdredge, Nebraska, Mary Farrell, deceased, Elzene Fryer, Villisca, and Frederick McCoy, who is on coast guard duty. She leaves also one sister, Mrs. Minnie Freelin of Omaha, and one brother, Joe Erkenbrack of Washington state, besides 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mrs. McCoy was a member of the Methodist Church. The body was brought to the Wolfe Funeral Home to await services which were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. E. M. Buehler. The pall bearers were George Kuhn, Bert Gridley, Everett Wiedeman, Orville Marsh, Bert King, and Vern Lewis, and the singing was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. J. L.
