S Mitchell about 1890 for the horses and buggy he used in his practice of medicine recently was torn down. It stood on the alley at 1432 Santa Fe. After Dr. Mitchell moved to Oklahoma about the turn of the century it was owned and occupied many years by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olson, and their children grew up their. The Olson boys had a pigeon cot in the haymow and raised squabs. After the horse and buggy days the mangers were removed and the old barn was used as a garage until it became to dilapidated.
