Dexter, veteran Great Northern employee, died suddenly and quietly about six o'clock Thursday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vincent Goligoski, of heart disease. Mr. Dexter recently returned from Lewistown where he had been employed in the Great Northern depot. He had been home about two weeks. Thursday afternoon he had gone uptown and visited with friends, in spite of the fact he had said at home that he did not feel very well. Some time after 4 o'clock Mrs. Goligoski and a friend encountered him and offered to drive him home in their car. He refused, saying that he wanted to walk. About an hour and a half later, Mrs. Goligoski returned home and found her father lying on the couch, reading. He passed away very suddenly about five minutes after she entered the house. Mr. Dexter was a widower, his wife having died Oct. 22, 1919, in Havre, where they had lived since 1913. Mr. and Mrs. Dexter were married Jan. 21, 1890, in Chicago. He had for many years been employed in the Great Northern freight house at Havre, and since curtailment of employment had been at other points. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Goligoski, and a son, Everett Dexter, of Hollywood; and two granddaughters, Louise and Dorothy Quigley. Burial will be in Highland cemetery by the side of his wife.
