Description	:	John Harper Passes Away At Age of 95 Years John F. Harper , a long time resident of the Adams community, passed away at the Crete hospital on Thursday evening. The late Mr. and Mrs. Harper lived on their farm west of Adams for many years and when they retired they went to lincoln where they lived in a trailer home near their daughter, Mrs. Ed Mohrhoff and husband at 5401 LaSalle St., Lincoln. Harper , a long time resident of the Adams community, passed away at the Crete hospital on Thursday evening. The late Mr. and Mrs. Harper lived on their farm west of Adams for many years and when they retired they went to lincoln where they lived in a trailer home near their daughter, Mrs. Ed Mohrhoff and husband at 5401 LaSalle St., Lincoln. Later they were both residents of the Crete Nursing Home. Mr. Harper was 95 years of age and had been in poor health for some time. Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Oltman of Clare, Ill., and Mrs. E.J. (Joyce) Mohrhoff, Lincoln; five grandsons; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife. Clara L. in 1969; son, Kirby in 1969; three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were conducted at the Adams Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon with Rev. I.C.G.Campbell of Weeping Water, officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Morris Coleman sang and Mrs. R.C. Rawson was arrested the organ. Casket bearers were: Ralph Harper, Merle Harper, John Oltman, Caryl Perry, Maurice Sasseen, Roy Porter.
