Description	:	John Henry Moxham, "Harry" as he was known to his family and friends, was the son of Benjamin and Louisa Moxham. He was born March 17, 1882, at Herman, Nebraska, which is now a part of Omaha. In childhood, he moved with his parents to Republic county (sic), Kansas, near Chester. Then in 1912, they moved to Chester, Nebraska, where they... Read More	John Henry Moxham, "Harry" as he was known to his family and friends, was the son of Benjamin and Louisa Moxham. He was born March 17, 1882, at Herman, Nebraska, which is now a part of Omaha. In childhood, he moved with his parents to Republic county (sic), Kansas, near Chester. Here he spent most of his childhood. On April 4, 1906, he was married to Miss Nellie Coons. They continued to reside in Kansas until after the first two children, Myrl and Vera, were born. Then in 1912, they moved to Chester, Nebraska, where they lived until June, 1923, when they moved to Wymore, Nebraska, where they have since resided. Mr. Moxham passed away at the Bryan Memorial hospital (sic) in Lincoln, on December 3, 1943, after an extended illness. His age at the time of his death was 61 years, 8 months and 16 days. He leaves to mourn his passing: his faithful wife, who ministered to him and cared for him faithfully through the last months of his life; his four children: Myrl, of Lincoln, Nebr.; Mrs. Vera Burnham of Yuma, Colo.; Mrs. Ardath Trautwein of Beatrice, Nebraska, and Mrs. Harriet Duprey of Denver, Colo. Also seven grandchildren, three brothers: George, of Belleville, Kans.; Walter of Chester, Nebr., and Ernest of Grand Island, Nebr.; a half-brother, Ben Junior, of Belleville, Kans.; one sister, Mrs. John Salisbury of LeRoy, Kans.; a large number of nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. His neighbors and friends pay him tribute by saying that he was the best of neighbors, highly respected and honored socially. He was a kind and considerate father and husband; and will be missed by all who knew him. Many of his friends were acquired through his work in the Burlington shops in Wymore, where he worked for all of the twenty years he lived in Wymore.
