Description	:	Douds Man Drowns In Farm Pond KEOSAUQUA - John Mercer, 85, was found dead in a pond Tuesday night on the farm where he lived near Douds. Mr. Mercer had walked fully clothed directly into the farm pond, said Dr. Kiyoshi Furumoto, Van Buren County assistant medical examiner, who attributed death to drowning. Shortly afternoon Tuesday Mr. Mercer had left the house, where he lived with a brother George, 81.
