Martin, a teacher, who had died in December 1929. The Daily Chronicle Thursday, October 2, 1941 "COUPLE HONORED ON WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ramsaur were hosts at dinner Tuesday evening at their home honoring the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Losh on their wedding anniversary. The lace covered-table was centered with a low bowl of small zinnias and other fall flowers were about the rooms. Cards and conversation were enjoyed and the honored couple were present gifts appropriate to the occasion. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John Ray, Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Brill and son, Larry, Mrs. Almeda Ray, Nancy Lee and Lenora Rae Ramsaur and the hosts and honor guests." ----- The Daily Chronicle Thursday, September 16, 1943 "DEATH COMES TO MRS. LOSH Funeral services to be Held Saturday for Resident of County Since 1886 Mrs. Florence R. Losh, 60, pioneer resident of Lewis county, died Wednesday evening at her home 618 West Maple street, after being ill 4 1/2 months. Born March 15, 1883, in Memphis Tenn. she came west in 1886 to Toledo where she resided until 1918, when she moved to Centralia. Surviving are her husband. J. Owen Losh; daughter, Mrs. Fred Ramsaur, Centralia; mother, Mrs. Almeda Ray, Centralia; two brothers, John M. Ray, Centralia, and Ira Ray, Toledo; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Losh was a member of the Montrose Rebekah lodge at Toledo, Collins Camp, Royal Neighbors, in Centralia, and the First Christian church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Christian church, the Rev. Earl Von Duren officiating. Burial in the Greenwood Memorial Park will be under direction of the Sticklin mortuary." ----- John married again, but the maiden name of his wife, Denzil, is unknown. Centralia Daily Chronicle Saturday, July 23, 1955 "Illness Fatal For J.O. Losh John Owen Losh, a Centralia resident for 31 years, died Friday evening in a local nursing home following a long illness. The family home is at 615 West Maple street. Losh was born Nov. 13, 1875, in Joliet, Ill. He was a member of the Centralia IOOF and Ivy Rebekah lodges. Survivors include his wife, Denzil, Centralia, a step-daughter, Mrs. Fred Ramsaur, Centralia; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Barnes, Pittsburg, Kan., and Mrs. Vern Norton, Monterey, Calif., also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, in Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia. The Rev.
