Surviving are the widow, Nancy, and three children, Christina, Erica and Lawrence Jon, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Yenni, Glasco; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ernsbarger and JoAnne Yenni, Glasco, and Mrs. Jeanne Crick, Independence, Mo.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sheets and Mrs. Dollie Yenni, all of Glasco. Interment was in the Glasco cemetery. Glasco Sun, Thursday, Dec. 2, 1971, page 3: Obituary Jon Emery Yenni Jon Emery Yenni was born to Emery and Maxine (Sheets) Yenni on Feb. 15, 1942, in Beloit, Kans. He died in his farm home southwest of Glasco, Sunday evening, Nov. 21, 1971, at the age of 29 years, 9 months, 7 days. He was a graduate of Glasco High School in 1960 and the University of Kansas in 1965. On Sept. 11, 1965, he was united in marriage to Nancy Williamson. To this union three children were born, Christina Maxine, Erica Evelyn and Lawrence Jon. He is survived by his wife and children; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Yenni; sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ernsbarger, Glasco, Mrs. Jeanne Crick, Independence, Mo., Miss Jo Yenni, Glasco; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sheets, and Mrs. Dollie Yenni, all of Glasco. Services were held at Dean Funeral Home, Nov. 24, 1971, at 10 a.m. with Father Robert Vering officiating. Burial was in the Glasco Cemetery.
