Description	:	Hudson, FL - - Juanita Vinesett (Lokey) Shaw, 93, of 12900 Pebble Beach Circle, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late B.B. Vinesett and Ollie Belle (McCraw) Vinesett. She is predeceased by her first husband, Herman Lokey, second husband, Bill Shaw, brothers Joe and Travis Vinesett, sister Helen Turner and several infant sons. Known by everyone as Nita, she married Herman Lokey after his Naval service in WWII and moved to St. Simons Is., GA, where she worked for Palmer's Drug Store.... Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late B.B. Vinesett and Ollie Belle (McCraw) Vinesett. She is predeceased by her first husband, Herman Lokey, second husband, Bill Shaw, brothers Joe and Travis Vinesett, sister Helen Turner and several infant sons. Known by everyone as Nita, she married Herman Lokey after his Naval service in WWII and moved to St. Simons Is., GA, where she worked for Palmer's Drug Store. She later moved to Takoma Park, MD and started work at the Washington Terminal Company in Washington, DC, as a Ticket Agent. She advanced to the position of Asst. to the Manager and eventually to the same position with Amtrak, until her retirement. She married Clarence William (Bill) Shaw and retired to Bayonet Point, FL, where she enjoyed her family, golf and became a formidable Canasta card player. She is survived by two sisters, Lena Martin and Rue Mayfield and their families, her son, Rick Lokey and his family, step-sons, Mark, Greg and Jeff Shaw, step-daughter Priscilla, and their families, including eight step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren. Dr. Clyde Thomas and Rev. Sidney Norton officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
