She was the daughter of Henry and Louise Miller and was born at Burlington, Ia., Nov. 10th, 1859. She moved to Jefferson county in 1863, residing at Four Corners. On Sept. 29th, 1881, she was united in marriage to William Langner at Four Corners. In 1889 they moved to Fairfield where she have (sic) since resided. To this union were born two children, John Langner, with whom she has made her home since the death of the husband in May, 1905, and Mrs. Florence Mullenix of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Lutheran church of which she had been a faithful member for a number of years. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
