Description	:	Louise Niederkleine, the 4th of 8 children born to Henry and Louise (Henke) Niederkleine, was born at #13 Schwenningdorf in northern Germany. Her parents came to America in 1886 and settled in the Saline/Jefferson County area. She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in 1891, and it was there that she married William Haake on 10 Feb 1898. The following is a transcription of a newspaper clipping from the collection of Edith Meyer and provided by Janey Sittner. Following it is an explanation of the location within Germany from which Louise came. Obituary--Mrs. William Haake Mrs. William Haake of Tobias, Neb., died in a Fairbury hospital Sunday, February 26, 1961 at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 25 days. She had been hospitalized since Jan. 6, when she suffered a severe stroke. Louise Marie Niderkleine, daughter of Henry and Louise Niederkleine, was born Oct. 31, 1877 in Schwenigdorf, Kreis-Herford,* Germany. She was baptized on Nov. 11, 1877. At the age of nine, she, with her parents and their family, came to America, and settled in the Tobias community, where they became members of Zion Lutheran Church. On March 22, 1891 she was confirmed in Zion Lutheran church by the Rev. Meeske. On Feb. 10, 1898 she married William Haake of Tobias with Rev. Theo. Hartmann officiating at the Zion Lutheran church. To them three sons and three daughters were born. The couple lived in the community south of Tobias, since their marriage, except for one year at Wilcox, Neb. Mrs. Haake was an active member of Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid for many years. Preceding her in death were her parents, her eldest daughter, Elsie; two sisters, Mrs. Chris Schwisow and Lena, Mrs. George Struckman; brother, Henry Niederkleine, and one great grandson, Stanley Meyer. Surviving are her husband, William of Tobias, two daughters, Lena, mrs. Rudolph Meyer of Tobias and Nettie, Mrs. Sidney Davies of Norwalk, Calif.; three sons, Adolph and William A. Haake of Tobias; and Lester of Lincoln; one brother, William Niederkleine of Daykin, who passed away two days after Mrs. Haake's death; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rohr of Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron, Mrs. Anna Bohlmeyer of Grant and Mrs. August Drees of Daykin, 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Prayer service was Wednesday afternoon at the Urbach chapel in Western and followed by funeral services at Zion Lutheran church of Tobias with Rev. Emmet C. Rogness officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne and Melvin Meyer and Larry Haake of Tobias, Roger Haake of Western, Kenneth Haake of Lincoln and Virgil Jochimsen of Omaha. *The correct spelling is "Schwenningdorf"; Kreis indicates "County", so it was in the "County of Horford". Wikipedia states: "Schwenningdorf is a village in the parish of Rödinghausen in the northeastern part of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Until 1968 Schwenningdorf was an independent parish in the Amt of Rödinghausen. The village was first mentioned in the records in 1088." and further states: "The village of Schwenningdorf lies to the north of Rödinghausen on the slopes of the Wiehen Hills."
