Visitation and viewing to begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Chaney-Walters Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at First Presbyterian Church will the Rev. Dr. Ivan E. Rundus officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ramey was born Sept. 1, 1923 in Padroni to Lloyd F. and Ethel Colette Ramey. Rundus officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ramey was born Sept. 1, 1923 in Padroni to Lloyd F. and Ethel Colette Ramey. He attended Padroni grade and high schools, graduating in 1941. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1945 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in horticulture. In his early years he was active in First Presbyterian Church of Sterling. He taught Sunday school and helped wherever he was needed. When he lived in Sterling he was manager of Riverside Cemetery, and later a partner in the Ramey Farm Supply. After he moved to Fort Collins he built homes and sold real estate. He owned and operated the Imperial Flower Shop until he became ill.He then worked for Handy Dan's Hardware store when he was able. He is survived by his mother Ethel C. Ramey of Sterling; brother Lewis L. and wife Betty of Sterling and sister Doris E. Wagner of Cheyenne, Wyo. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd F. Ramey. Memorial contributions can be made to the E.P. Morlan Scholar ship Fund at the First Presbyterian Church.
