Description	:	Larry Helberg, 75, of Napoleon, Ohio died unexpectedly Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1939 in Napoleon Twp., Ohio to the late Eldor and Ruth (Hogrefe) Helberg. On April 14, 1962 he married Twila Olmstead at Beulah E.U.B. Church in Winameg, Ohio, who survives. Read More	Larry Helberg, 75, of Napoleon, Ohio died unexpectedly Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1939 in Napoleon Twp., Ohio to the late Eldor and Ruth (Hogrefe) Helberg. On April 14, 1962 he married Twila Olmstead at Beulah E.U.B. Church in Winameg, Ohio, who survives. Larry was a maintenance mechanic at Campbell Soup for over 30 years and former Journeyman machinist, and Millwright. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp., Napoleon American Legion, AMVETS, and Fulton County Sportsman Club. He was a Board member of UFCW Local 626 for many years. He was born and raised on the family farm and he had a great love for the outdoors. His greatest love was fishing, which he did every chance he got. He is survived by his wife Twila; daughter, Denise Snider, Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Eric (Jennifer) Helberg of Napoleon, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" and Carlee Helberg; brothers, Roger (Mary Alice) Helberg and Lynn (Jackie) Helberg, both of Napoleon, Ohio; sister, Joyce (Frank) Melick, Lancaster, Ohio; and his loyal dog, Kudo. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the Napoleon Joint Veteran Posts.
