She was born April 20, 1916 in Freedom Township, Ohio to the late Louis & Helen (Cordes) Hogrefe. On April 26, 1936, she married Eldor Helberg at St. John Lutheran Church Freedom Twp., who preceded her on May 31, 1972. Read More	Ruth-Helberg Rickenberg, 92, of Napoleon, Ohio died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon. She was born April 20, 1916 in Freedom Township, Ohio to the late Louis & Helen (Cordes) Hogrefe. On April 26, 1936, she married Eldor Helberg at St. John Lutheran Church Freedom Twp., who preceded her on May 31, 1972. She then married Delbert Rickenberg on January 9, 1982 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Napoleon Twp. who preceded her on December 29, 2005. Ruth was a farm wife and nursing assistant at Country View Haven and Northcrest Nursing Home, both of Napoleon. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, and member of it's Women of the Church and Altar Guild. She was a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau Council, Henry County Homemakers, and the Migrant Ministry, and was a Grey lady for the Heller Memorial Hospital and Henry County Hospital. (living names omitted) She was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond & Arnold Hogrefe; and sisters, Florence Willis and Frances Johnston. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Twp. with Pastor Franklin Hays officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and 1 hr prior the service at the church on Saturday. The family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Paul's Lutheran Napoleon Twp. Memorial Fund or Lutheran Home of Napoleon. Obituary Published by Rodenberger Funeral Home.
