She was a member of Soroptomist Club and a member of Wesley Chapel Church in Rock Hall. Her hobbies were quilting and sewing, growing flowers, traveling, crabbing, fishing and riding bikes. She also loved Christmas time and getting together with family and friends. Lelia's funeral was Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Wesley Chapel Church in Rock Hall, MD with interment in St. Paul?s Cemetery in Chestertown, MD.
