Leo John Tow, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Lucius Tow, was born in Emmet County, Iowa, Sept. 4, 1903, and passed away to the Heavenly Home June 20, 1938, being not quite 35 years of age. His boyhood was spent in Emmet County. About twelve years ago he came with his parents to Superior where except for a brief time the family have resided. Since early childhood Leo has not been well, Just one year ago he became seriously ill. Since that time he gradually failed until God released him from his suffering Sunday morning. He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Barrett of Estherville, Mrs. Hazel Fodge/Fogde of Graettinger, Mrs. Ruby Bendixen of Terril, three brothers, Forrest, Russell and Donald of Superior. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Burial was in Superior cemetery. * The Spirit Lake Beacon, June 30, 1938. ------------ Place of death was at the State Hospital in Cherokee, Iowa. ------------
